dog, cat or pet of the day???? I don't know why, but my favorite dog of the day is Ziggy...honored on July 11, 2002. I fell in love with him, I think. I loved his picture, and even had it as the background on my computer for a while.

It shouldn't! We put it up because when we didn't, we got emails from people saying they were very sorry, but they just couldn't risk coming to Pet of the Day anymore, because they would risk seeing a snake/spider ... and they were upset and frightened by these creatures. One said, "I know it is illogical, but my fear is very real."

So we put the Creepy Crawly icons up, recommended that they use Dog of the Day or Cat of the Day as their homepage, and so could avoid being frightened, and just click over to Pet of the Day when it's a regular icon.

The funny thing is that since then, some people have admitted to me that they are MORE likely to click when it IS a Creepy Crawly icon!

And as to the original question of the thread ...

Heehee that's me!! When I see that sign I just absolutely *have* to see what it is, even before looking at dog of the day!!!

I don't have a favourite either, I love all of them. I guess one of my favourites is Ollie, he is a persian He was the first one I've ever seen. I forgot which day though.

She is, of course. She's never been featured on Pet of the Day, that's all. She's our own special brown bunny every day! Yesterday, I took her to visit with our elderly neighbors, it was such a nice day, and they both loved petting her! (As long as I'm holding her, she'll let people pet her, she's very tolerant that way.)
