Afrodita is my second Guinea Pig. I decided to bring her home because of my first Guinea Pig, Csillag. She was so alone, and sad. I thought she would need a friend who she can play with. Afrodita was two months old then, and sooo energetic. She liked running and playing hide and seek with Csillag very much. Csillag was happy, too, that she got a friend. She loved and protected Afrodita like she could be her mother.
As the time flew Afrodita became lazier. Some of the times she is so energetic that I can not follow her movements. Her hobby is eating and eating :). Her favorite foods are cucumber and carrot. Every day they have an exact time for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guess what Afrodita is doing between feedings! She is of course eating Ð eating hay all the time or sleeping. She does not give any sound (like Csillag) when she is hungry. She is just waiting, looking at me with her cute eyes and showing me with her little nose that the plate is empty and I should give her some snacks. She does the same thing when she is thirsty.
She is always very relaxed and calm, and feels no stress. Her motto seems to be, "Keep calm and eat a lot!"
I love them so much. I am very happy when they are happy, too. They like walking and running outside in the green grass very much, and laying in the sunshine. I always take them out when I have time and the weather is good for them.
