I haven't lost any babies in my adult life. But there is a rug in the bedroom that is Taz's scratching rug. I'm pretty sure that will stay right where it is even when he is gone. All my babies will also be cremated. I'm not sure what will become of me (I haven't thought that far ahead yet), but either way they will be with me.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

There is a yard in Sanford NC that has 2 bricks with names and dates I carved into them for Cineli and Claire. Im sure the grass has overgrown the bricks by now.

Our dear Tomas' ashes are on our mantel in a place of honor. His picture is on both our phones and he, himself, is in our hearts forever

Wow, I posted this just 4 days before Taz went to the bridge. And I completely forgot about it. But just as I said, that rug is still there and I have no intention of removing it. Even though it is not attractive. I also have scratches on furniture to remember him. And I do not know what to do with his dishes and food mat (it has Taz the cartoon on it). I don't want to use them for another kitty. I'll probably pack them away eventually, but for now they are still on the dining room table (that we don't use).

I have a picture of my sister's RB cats Poco and Jasmine in a frame, right next to a photo of the Found Cats. I need to get a picture of my nephew's RB cat Churchill on that table, too. My sister received Poco's and Jasmine's ashes back from the vet and she has them in a little basket, high up on a bookcase shelf, along with a few of their favorite toys. other items on that shelf change for the seasons - photos and decorations - but that little basket never moves. Only a few people know what it is.

Cindy, we kept Jamara's dish for six years until we adopted Pinot. We still have it, although we only used it for a short time with her until we got "her" dishes. I'm still trying to figure out if I can dispose of it.

Elyse, the pictures are always the best. I couldn't stand the ashes - it would just be too much.

I have Katz's and Aysche's websites to remember them, and their photos. I also have Katz's paw print in clay, and I have framed her picture...
