I'd rather shave my lower regions with a dull rusty pair of Bauers than root for the Ducks.
That is another Orange County/Dizzyland abomination.
The Pond/Honda Center/Iceland or whatever they are calling the arena this year is a neat spiffy venue anyway!![]()
Go Flames Go!
Our season starts tomorrow against Colorado. Stupid me I mean against the Canucks. I'm going to the game on Tues the 14th which is against Colorado. lol I think I'm a little excited.

*Thanks Ashley*
Been a Penguins fan from way back! Went to Pitt for a few semesters (before I decided I didn't know what the heck I was doing in college at that point...) and loved watching the games. We were one of the few apartments that paid for cable, so we'd charge admission for the games, and that would cover the expense for the refreshments, lol. Fun days back in 1990 and 1991.
Go Canucks! The season opener is tomorrow night against the Flames, I can't wait!
NOTHING could get me to root for the Ducks-nothing. It's all a Disney plot to take over the sports world.
ANyway, I am still recovering from Marty McSorley's crooked stick. ACK!
We do have some great arenas here. I do like the Honda/Pond/Anaheim/whoever paid for the name arena, Concerts are good there, rodeos and roller hockey, when they had a team.
I loved the Inglewood Forum, saw tons of stuff there. THat was the Kings old home. Haven't been to the Staples Center tho.....to expensive and parking is 20 bucks off the top!
IT's anyway you want to pronounce it! Cah Lee Fuh Nee Ah is my governor's way to do it! and yes, we are easily amused!
Land of the fruits and nuts, ya know?
Go FLAMES Go!!!
Not off to a great start though. Losing the first game in Vancouver and now tied with them the second game, 3rd is almost over. Come on guys, get your stuff together!!!

Man, I don't know what happened with the Blackhawks last night (3/17). They lost to Dallas 5-0. It's like they were AWOL for most of the game. This year's team is so much different than last year. Oh, well.
