I am going to be a GREAT Aunt....

I just got told the news tonight, my niece and her hubby are having their first baby in October, I am really excited, been a long time since a young un was in our family,both are very financially secure and although young 22 and 23 I think will make excellent parents,I am so happy for them and to think my parents will beable to see their first great grandchild too. What a happening ending to an already wonderful day.

Oh, Sis! Great news! You'll be the GREATEST great aunt there ever was. I'm a great uncle four times. My oldest great niece is 10 years old already. They have a real good upbringing also. My niece married a Lutheran pastor!

Thanks, yes it is exciting to see another generation being born, they already have names picked out Jordan for a boy and Paige or Tiffany for a girl, i am betting it will be a boy, because both my sis and i had boys first and my niece's husbands dad has four boys, but i could be wrong, anyhow as long as bubs is healthy all that matters, will know soon when she has her next scan and yes they are going to tell us.
