What actor/actress performed in a role that drove you crazy?
I mean crazy like I-still-yell-at-the-screen role?
My all time fave is Juliet Lewis in Cape Fear!
I wanted to slap her so bad...especially when she was in the auditorium with DeNiro...
About two thirds thru the movie I realized that I was talking to the TV...That made me realize what a good actress she was...she hasn't done any thing else I liked, but that ROCKED!

At the risk of sounding like a total nerd...
I loved Kate Mulgrew as Kathryn Janeway on Star Trek Voyager. She did a very good job at making the character convincing. Her acting really helped me get into the show a lot more than other Star Trek series (No I'm not sparking a what captian is better debate)
Another convincing role that comes to mind is the lead female role in the first (the VERY first) Night of the Living dead movie. She really had you going that she was in fact, the dumbest woman on earth.

Paul Newman in Cat on a Cat Tin Roof is my all time FAVORITE movie. If only he were single and I were older. *sigh*

Seven Years in Tibet with Brad Pit. That's a really good movie. I was surprised I liked it because I don't usually go for those type movies.

I have to agree with you on The Professional...its one of the better movies I've seen reciently.
