EDIT: I would like to keep the fundraiser going until after Christmas as this is a traditional time for giving. Thank you for any support you can offer
Original Post Today, Thanksgiving day (USA), I would like everyone to remember all that they can be thankful for. A home, family, friends, your pets, your health, and all the little things that many people simply take for granted.
For those if you who were here at Pet Talk last year, you might rmember my campaign to raise funds for my Rescue group (One By One cat rescue). (2003 fundraiser thread) I asked for each and every person to donate $1, yes $1, to help all the kitties who do not have quite so much to be thankful for. Our shelter is currently home to 75 homeless cats and our foster homes are all filled to capacity as well. The food and litter bill is tremendous, let alone the vet bills.
Please visit our Petfinder site here and our rescue site here to read about us and see our cats. There is a paypal offer on the petfinder site or money can be sent to:

My fundraiser last year brought in over $500 and was a great success. And as last year, I do not want anyone to feel obligated to donate or obligated to explain why you can't. It is just like if you all lived locally to me, I would ask you to buy a raffle ticket and you would have the choice to say yes or no.
Even one donation will help because these kitties have nothing.
Enjoy your holiday And thank you for listening.
