My 40th (A BIG THANK YOU!) *Long*(updated 2-21)

As most of you know last Wednesday marked my 40th Bday. I was sooo not looking forward to it.....but thanks to you all 40 has been my best year yet.

My best friend Robin (Robilee-the little birdie) started what's called a Card Party for me. She worked very hard pming everyone and asked them if they would like to participate. Needless to say, many, many, many of you did and I can't thank you all enough!
All the terrific cards, well wishes and gifts (to my surprise) were absolutely wonderful! Day after day the postman brought me cards, he probably thought I was one of the most popular people around because one day he brought me 17 of them!
I can't thank you all enough, I never realized how many friends I have!

Ohh and do you see those black baloons laying on the floor? Know what they're from? A SURPRISE PARTY! Yep you heard me right, Mark threw me a party and was I ever surprised!
Goodness there was so many things that should have told me what was happening, but I really didn't see all the signs. My manager at work even almost let it slip so I kept thinking something was going to happen, but then when it never did I thought it was all just my mind playing tricks on me. It wasn't my mind, it was my hubby and my friends!
There were people from my work, family and friends...pt friends! Yep, besides Robin... Staci, Amy & Diana were there too! Phred had planned on coming but unfortunately he couldn't be here due to circumstances

A BIG thanks to Loudlou, she had these made and sent them to us for everyone to wear & take home as a momento (and a keychain for both Mark and I to keep-there are better pictures of them in the album), it was great!



I have sooo many pictures and I really can't decide which ones to post so I'll just post one more of the man who made the party possible....

And what a lucky woman I am, his gift to me was a $300 gift card to a day spa! Ohhh I can't wait for a day of pampering!

Aw, that's wonderful! I wanted to send a birthday card, but, forgot. I was so bummed, too...RobiLee asked me awhile ago, and, I said I wanted to, but, then the next thing you know, I was seeing your happy birhtday thread. I had totally forgotten. Same here Val. I have been so busy with Diamond that I totally forgot. I'm so sorry Anna. I'm so glad you had a great birthday! You are such a special lady you deserve it so much. I love all the pictures. You and Mark make a beautiful couple. You two seem truly happy together.

Darn right I am a well traveled PT girl!
Black teeth and everything.
In California I wear Glittery eye lashes in Ohio my true redneck self turns out and I have black teeth!

It was a great time yesterday and am so glad that we made the trip for our friend Anna. She just kept saying "I can't believe your here!"
We finally left around 730pm after eating Pizza and cake as you can see on my teeth. Mark and his black icing!
Glad everything worked out Anna!
