This is so crazy..this was like 5 houses down from me. Last night when everyone saw all the cops on our street, we went out on our porches and the cops were yelling at us to stay in the house so I didn't know what was going on..but today I found the storty on the net..here it is...........

I am confused b/c the link I clicked talks about Black Friday the day after Thanksgiving Shopping.

Shoppers brave frigid cold to get bargains

Bargain shoppers faced frigid temperatures and long lines to get early-bird specials today, one of the biggest shopping days of the year in the Quad-Cities.
What brings these “Black Friday” shoppers out in droves every year? Bargain prices and tradition, several said as they hauled fistfuls of shopping bags and boxes to their cars Friday morning.

“We’re called insane,” said Vicki Edmunds of Orion, Ill., who fought the crowds before dawn with her husband, Bob Edmunds, at Younkers in SouthPark Mall, Moline. “It’s been crazy.”

That's pretty amusing though...the police ushered you guys in the house to take care of the crazy bargain shoppers. Makes sense, I guess.

LMAO That's what I honestly thought at first and was like '....wow. You must not get a lot of stuff happening at your town!' until I read the other replies haha

Oh my gosh this is coincidental, a similar thing happened to me on Friday, I was in the laundry when I heard shouting and carrying on, thinking oh my neighbours must be having a domestic or something, then when i went outside next door was surrounded with cops about fifteen of them, some plain clothes, some armed offenders, and they were arresting this guy who had run onto my neighbours property, they were after another one as well who got away, pretty scarey stuff, glad my gates were closed and my doors locked, one more bad dude put away i hope.

I could not read the story either, but I assume there was a hostage situation or something, scarey stuff all right.
