This has been posted before. I am a very fast reader, but spelling mistakes bother and distract me. I just worry about this study affecting students' willingness to learn proper spelling!

I wonder if they've tested how long it takes the average person to read that sentance as is as opposed to how quickly they could read it spelled correctly!

It is amazing, I can read that as fast as "normal" text. He he, now I understand why most people don't even notice my spelling-mistakes here
