white spotted dog

does anyone know if there is a breed of dogs with white spots on black coat, like the opposite of a dalmatian. I remember seeing it one time on animal planet but not sure whether it was a purebreed or a cross. a real stunner though.

i don't think i've ever seen a dog like that before. although i think it sounds really pretty.

their are some greyhounds with markings like that, never seen any other breed like that before though

What did the dog on animal planet look like: coat type, ears, size? Could it have been a dog with spots painted on?

it looked like a lab I think, I saw it some time ago though so not really sure
