my mums birthday today......

Yep folks my mother turned 69 today, cannot think she is that age, as she is so good for her age, and after having such a rough year, I am just ever so thankful to have my mother still, having the cancer was a big scare, and I count my blessings she is still here to celebrate her day.

She is coming over today, I will give her her present, and we will just have some quality time together., just wanted to share, thanks for listening.

Thank you all for your kind words, Miss Meow, it was a beautiful day in Aotearoa too, lovely sunshine, started off real coolish, but splendid, mum and I went out to lunch and spent some time together, she gave me a hug and told me how good I am too her, so that really touched my heart, I cannot endow her with large expensive gifts, but I try in other ways if I can.

I let her know how glad I was that she was still here to celebrate her special day, as it was indeed a close call earlier this year.

I am just so blessed to still have both my parents with me, and I hope to for many years yet.

Yesterday was my grandmother's 80th birthday--I didn't get to see her, but I will next week!
