    Cashew's new home (update)

When Cashew was adopted (July 28) she went to a home with another kitten from another litter.

This is the e-mail I received:
Jen(foster mom) - this is new mom and dad's report on one of your former
    fosters!

    The kittens are doing well.
We have renamed them Professor McGonegal and Ginny. They go to see the vet
on Friday. They have been playing together beautifully and they are so
much fun to play with. They are still staying in the dining room when we
are at work- they are alowed in the kitchen and living room only when
supervised. They are getting big and eating lots! Thanks so much for
    everything!!

Sounds as if Ron and Albus Dumbledore would be the next kittens to go in that household

I liked "Cashew" better but the main thing is that she's happy and has found a new furrrever friend

They are from Harry Potter, Jen! You should read the books or see the movies!
Glad to hear Cashew has a happy new home with a kitten friend!

Sounds like Cashew's a happy little girl. In the Harry Potter books, by the way, Professor McG occasionally transforms into a tabby cat.

I rescued a litter of four a couple years ago and "theme-named" them after characters from Harry Potter. Harry and Hermione were adopted (they're now called Chuck and Jasmine). Lily and Hagrid are still here. Although they're litter-mates, Lily is my smallest cat (a tiny medium-haired golden-eyed black kitty) and Hagrid, a medium-haired tuxie boy, is the big fella on the block (or in the house, at least).

Here are photos of the characters of Professor McGonagall and Ginny.

Ginny is a redhead like all the other Weasleys.

Well, from those descriptions, Cashew would probably Professor McG because she is tabby and the other little kitten, who was tan/orange/brown (I did not see her) must be Ginny.
As long as they are all happy.

I'm glad little Cashew, now Prof McGonagall, has a good home and a little friend to play with. I hope their vet visit goes well and I'm hoping for pictures.
