Please say a prayer for my parents.

I just talked to my mom and her & my dad had an accident on their motorcyclelast night when they were coming back from Myrtle Beach. From what I can get, they went there and had the back of the bike transformed into a trike. Well, I guess something went wrong on the way home and dad couldn't control the bike. They hit the guard rail and both of them were thrown off. Dad has a concussion & my mom has a broken wrist (broke in a few different places), and of course they both are battered and bruised. They are being discharged from the hospital which is about and hour or so away from where they live, so their friends are going to go get them.
I'm still pretty much in shock & don't quite know what to make of all of this. Mom said she'll call me whenever they make it home. She was so upset when we talked, she said both of them were knocked unconscious, and when she came to she couldn't find my dad, and when she did see him, he was a bloody mess I hate that I live so far away from them But I am thankful that they are both alive.
Thanks for listening, I really needed it.

When I see threads like this I count my blessings that my Mom only lives 15 min. away. God, please take care of Anna's parents and speed up the healing.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

give them a huge hug when you see them and
think about ALL the times they said to you something like....

    "I don't want you......."

"You are never again going to..."

"If I ever hear about you....."

    "Get rid of that......"

"It's about time you get rid of that....."

and fit the word 'motorcycle' at the end of those sentences.

but tell them that you love them first!!!!

Oh no. I hope your parents are on the mend quickly. Must've been a big scare for them, particularly with your mum not being able to find your dad.
