    Today is..

    the 4th year since Benny, my first dog who lived up to 17 years of age, was put down today at 11:05am... *sniff*
    You're the one sure thing I've found so you better stick around...

    I'm sorry It never gets easier to remember, does it? I lost my lab about 4 years ago in April. I still find myself teary eyed for her. You're in my thoughts on this day.

    i hope you feel better i know how you feel. my mom's dog was 18 when she died and it's been about 4 years too.

    We never get over missing them but the pain lessens and the memories become very treasured. My first Golden has been gone for many many years now and I still think of her often and smile at the memories I have of her.

    I'm so sorry! Benny at the age of 17 had a good long life and is now playing with all dogs in heaven!
