    puppies are here

I don't think I told anyone here, but harley accidentaly bred with my brothers dog, taylor, a while back. I didn't know she was at my moms house and when I pulled in and opened the building, there she was. I didn't think a whole lot about it untill a few minutes later I walked around the sid eof the building to see what they were into and well.... you know. It is hard tellingh who the father really is because my brother is stupid and obviously doesn't care about her. my mom said that he told her she may have also bred with an english mastiff. I think the pups are from both fathers, but it's hard to tell right now.
PS. Harley isn't fixed because Dave wanted to wait untill he is a year old. Anyways.. here are the pics I took today

The pups are now 4 days old! She had 7 pups. 5 brown and 2 white with brown and black spots.

Awww, they are adorable!!! You can definitely tell which ones are fur sure Harleys.

I hope that your brother will now get his dog fixed. She is a beautiful dog, but....well you know what I'm saying.

So, are you guys for sure going to get one? That's exciting! I'm sure Harley's not minded being an only dog for a while, but he needs a play mate.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

oh definately! he is driving me and everyone eles in this house crazy! he needs a dog to play with. It has been a rouph year losing both Brownie and Shyanne, but I think a puppy will do us good. It's a little sooner then i planned, but the greatest gifts in life come unexpectly. I would like to charge maybe some kind of an adoption fee to help pay to get Taylor fixed. I am difinately going ot make sure they go to good home, plus my mom is keeping one too! Harley is going to get fixed hopefully in Oct. he will be 1 then. He wanted to see the puppies soo bad, but when we tried to let him sniff one, Taylor came running over, lol.

I just love the smile on Taylor. What a cute dog. And Harley is beautiful. The pups are so cute. I would love to be there and see them in person.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

The pups are adorable but isn't this a little bit irresponsible? How does one "accidentally breed"?

He wanted to see them sooo bad, but there mommy said no, so we didn't push it. He's going to love playing with them when they get a little older. I can't wait!

Accidently means I didn't mean for it to happen. My brother had moved back in with my mom and I didn't know he had brought Taylor there. When I got there, I didn't know she was outside and I let harley out of the truck, I got buisy working on the fourwheeler and didn't really think about her being in heat (i didn't know she was) and the next thing I knew... the deed was done. Harley had never tried to breed with any other dog, so it just never crossed my mind. Trust me... if it were up to me, he would have been fixed, but it's up to Dave and he wanted to wait untill he is a year old. Taylor could be pregnant by any dog within a mile of that place becouse he didn't bother to put her up and then complained about it when she got pregnant. I can't stand him. We think some of the pup are harleys and some belong to a mastiff that probably bred with her as well. But like I said.. it's hard to tell 'cause there were plenty of other male dogs running around the neighborhood too. I felt awful that my dog had bred with her, trust me... I did not want it to happen. And yes, I know it was my fault too

The pups are very cute! Good luck finding them great homes!

Irresponsible as in both the dogs should have been spayed/neutered. Yes it was an accident. Accidents happen. Just get both dogs spayed/neutered so this doesn't happen again. There is no medical reason to wait until a year old to spay or neuter a dog. The sooner the better.

REST IN PEACE GRACIE. NOT A DAY GOES BY THAT I DON'T MISS YOU.
