    My gorgeous lilies

    My lilies have been unusually gorgeous this year so I thought I'd share,
    Sorry about the size but they are better seen in the pic mode instead of the thumbnail. The last two are my very favorites and make great wallpapers.











    No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!

    Wow, they are gorgeous. I love the colors. I don't think I've ever
    seen Lilies that color before.

    They must have been even prettier than I thought. last night someone came into the yard and cut three stalks of them down and ran off with them. I do wish they had asked. I would gladly have shared. It just irks me that people feel free to just take things any more!

    They are magnificent! I don't think I have ever seen such pretty ones outside a bulb catalogue! Do you know what type they are?

    I don't know the right name. Around here they are called surprise lilies or naked ladies! The leaves come up in the spring then die down. The flowers come up later in the summer; like : surprise here we are!!!

    I didn't know there were lily varieties that did that, that is flower and throw up leaves at different times. Well they are gorgeous anyway! Thanks for letting us see them.

    Amazing flowers and photos. I can only imagine how fragrant those lovely flowers are. I LOOOOOOVE going past the floral dept. in our grocery store, the lilies are so fragrant that the smell just consumes me. I always take deep breaths in and take in the lilly aroma. Thanks for sharing the photos...I only wish I could smell them also
