    Thank you all. I'm glad you enjoyed them!

    They must have been even prettier than I thought. last night someone came into the yard and cut three stalks of them down and ran off with them. I do wish they had asked. I would gladly have shared. It just irks me that people feel free to just take things any more!

    They are magnificent! I don't think I have ever seen such pretty ones outside a bulb catalogue! Do you know what type they are?

    I don't know the right name. Around here they are called surprise lilies or naked ladies! The leaves come up in the spring then die down. The flowers come up later in the summer; like : surprise here we are!!!

    I didn't know there were lily varieties that did that, that is flower and throw up leaves at different times. Well they are gorgeous anyway! Thanks for letting us see them.
