What an amazing bond of love and trust you and she have forged in such a brief time; best friends and soul mates for life, for sure! Having a loyal best friend such as you who, without a word spoken, is tuned into your feelings, your moods, your needs, is something we all hope for in life. I've read here on Pet of Day so often, and know through my own experiences as well, what great teachers our animal companions are. And I'm sure that over the years you and your human will be learning many more important life lessons from one another! You are my daughter's pride and joy. I am thankful for the day that her instructor found you for her and for everything you have taught her with your loyalty, strength and wisdom.

I know that you and she will have many, many wonderful times together. You are a match made in heaven. You know her walk, her voice, everything about her and I see that in the way you watch her and listen. You take care of my daughter everyday with every movement in the arena during practice and when you and she jump. You are beautiful to watch and when she rides you, y'all seem to appear as one.

HI CHIP! YOU LOOK LIKE THE KIND OF HORSE I RODE WHILE I WAS IN THE AIR FORCE-ON A LITTLE RETREAT TRIP IN DENVER CO. I WAS STATIONED AT LOWRY AFB. I HAD NEVER BEEN ON A HORSE-BUT IT WAS JUST GREAT! YOU FIND OUT PRETTY QUICK THAT THIS CREATURE IS GOING TO DO WHAT HE/SHE IS GOING TO DO AND YOU BETTER ENJOY THE RIDE-HA HA. I DIDN'T FALL OFF WHICH WAS COOL-SINCE I AM VERY TALL-LO I HAVE MENTIONED THIS NEXT THING BEFORE ON PET TALK-BUT I DID HOME ELDERLY CARE AWHILE BACK AND ONE LADY ACTUALLT STILL RODE HER THOROBRED CHESTNUT HORSE. SHE HAD ALSO TAUGHT A FAMOUS ACTRESS TO RIDE WHILE SHE TAUGHT AT A WOMAN'S COLLEGE NEAR HERE. I LIVE WITH MY CATS IN UPSTATE NY, BUT I ADORE HORSES. I LEARNED ALOT HELPING THIS WOMAN IN HER DAILY BARN ROUTINE. I ADORE THE WAY THEY GRAB SUGAR CUBES OR GRAIN UP OUT OF YOUR HAND WITH THOSE POWERFUL LIPS-HMM GREAT FUN-AND BEING IN THE OUTDOORS.
