My daughter and I went to the APL two weeks ago and picked out a new bun. They only had two but Clover (half English Lop half Holland Lop) was perfect from the start. It only took me ten minutes to bond her and Benny (Benny's first mate Snowy died of a tumor). I put Clover in a cage in Benny's room for two days and introduced them in the hallway the third day, 10 minutes later then were fine and have been playing in the mutual room for over a week now.
I have a loveseat in the room and sit in there and read and spend time with them. The second day I am just sitting there kind of on my side watching them playing hide and seek with the boxes when Clover jumps on the loveseat and cuddles in my arms for a pet. I was surprised and so happy. Whomever had her before must have cuddled her quit a bit. She has done this several times now and is oh so sweet. Benny thinks so as well.
Even though Clover is 5lbs to Bennys 3lbs they get along so well and Benny is the man in the room.
Clover is only one and she is full of pep she needs to explore everything, jump on the boxes, rearrange the boxes and play all the time. It is so much fun seeing Benny playing and being happy again. Bun love how great is that.![]()
