Bunnikins, the Pet of the Day
Name: Bunnikins
Age: Three years old
Gender: Female
Kind: Netherland dwarf,
Himilayan rabbit
Home: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Hello, my name is Bunnikins and I am a netherland dwarf X himalayan rabbit. After mummy bought me from the pet shop, she brought me home where everyone thought I was adorable. I had to go to the vet to get my injection, and mommy asked the vet why I sometimes bump into things. The vet checked my eyes and found that I was going blind. Because of this, I am very scared of everyone except my mummy, and she is the only one that I will give kisses to.

Mummy painted a sign with my name on it for my cage. I can't run around with the other rabbits because I attack anything that moves because I can't see what it is. I have a separate time where mummy and me go play outside. She chases me and I run, then turn around and ask for pats. Then I chase her. I love digging, but mummy keeps an eye on me and always fills up the holes before I dig under the fence. There is a scary dog next door. Once the dog jumped over at the fence and I got such a fright that I ran into a wire fence and made a big dent in it. I also cut my lip. It hurt, but I got lots of attention from mummy, and she spoilt me rotten. I love biscuits. Mummy gives them to me for treats. I hate celery and will not touch it if it is in my cage. I am very fussy with food, so mummy calls me her spoilt little princess. I love my mummy.
