    Frontline not working :(

I was just petting Bella a few minutes ago and guess what was buried beneath the curls on top of her head????? A tick!!! Yes, it is attached and slightly enlarged (engorged) and her last Frontline treatment was just five days ago. Anyone else have this happen? Why didn't this tick die????

The only thing I can come up with is if she has had a bath or gotten the area of the frontline wet within the last 5 days. My vet has told me that if the area gets wet the treatment is voided out. Thus why no baths for Mister when he gets his. Other then that it hasnt happened here. And I cant think of any other reasons why its wouldnt have worked. Hope she is ok and maybe your vet has more answers. I would just call and ask. Oh and thanks for the nice lovies you sent me. I feel your husbands pain they did both mine yesterday and I am hurting....

Yeah, no baths two days before or two days after putting Frontline on.

Other than that, I'm a groomer, and I heard a customer say that Frontline is losing its punch, that fleas/ticks are becoming immune to it. Who knows?

Well i use Advantage, for all my four kitties, so far no problems, all is well, and if anyone would be bitten here , it would be me, and i am fine.,maybe look into changing to advantage multi or resolution.

It seems here I have to switch back and forth between Frontline and Advantage. If I use one for more than a couple months, the fleas/ticks become immune to it or something.
