    Poor Coco

We were out in front yard and Coco managed to grab a discarded cloth cover for small dust buster. It was our weekly trash day and it's not uncommon to find stuff in yard after trash day. Hate when people dont use trash bags. Anyways.... Guess who ATE it. Yep, Coco. I couldnt get him to "drop it" and placing my hand in his mouth is an adventure.

So inside I ran screaming to hubby that he ate this cloth thing outside. Called our vet it's 5:30 p.m. they close at 6:00 p.m. Vet tech tells me to give him hydrogen perioxide (it makes him throw up). In meantime, she will call the vet and have him call me to tell me the same instructions.

In meantime, we poured hp down his throat which was a real trick. Vet called back and said it would take a few minutes to work and if no results give him some more hp. We RAN OUT of hp. I sent hubby out to get more didnt care where he went just get some.

There was a very bad traffic accident on interstate that caused a HUGH back up and they were routing traffic through town. Poor hubby it took him an extra hour to get home tonight. He ran into this traffic on his way to find more HP. I get tired of waiting outside for Coco to throw up. Figuring that what we gave him wasnt enough, we went back inside the house.

I was in kitchen and heard him "throw up" but it was only a little bit and two spots. I didnt see the HUGH pile of food & object he ate. Turned around and there it was so I'm grabbing paper towels and cleaning up the mess.

I take Coco outside to finish what we were doing before he ATE the object (going potty). Hubby returns and is pleased he barfed it up.
I had to tell him guess who found another bottle of HP in the house. Thankfully he wasnt mad.

Poor Coco gets no food until tomorrow morning. Goofy ball had just had his dinner at 4:30 p.m. Our vet assured me he would not starve until tomorrow a.m.

I got more gray hairs tonight LOL

I'm so glad Coco is okay!! Wow! That was a scary one.

I love the term "goofy ball". That's what I call my girls.

    I've been Boo'd...
    Thanks Barry!
