I agree both your girls are beautiful but I am a little more in love with Dance. The certainly looked like they had a good time at the park. Great pictures!

The girls look like they had a great time playing together. Although, I must admit I said "ouch" when I came to the collision picture. Do they pay any attention to each other in the house, or do they really only play together/interact when they are outside?

    Thanks everyone!

Joyce, they adore eachother and spend lots of time in the house together. We do separate them quite a bit though as Keira has a lot more energy than Dance and can be a little much at times with her. Lol, and don't worry about them colliding. Ki isn't rough with her, she just paws her and Dance was squinting because water droplets were getting in her eyes. Dance tells her off when she's had enough, and I prevent Keira from getting out of hand.

I never doubted for one minute that you made sure the girls played safely when together. I think it is just the squint that made me say that. I am surprised to hear that Keira has more energy than Dance. Do you think it is because she is still a puppy (is Keira still a puppy?) or are Dobies more active than I think of them as being.

I have to agree wholeheartedly that they are both incredibly beautiful. Great pictures. Dance awes me. She is so unique and a vision. Keira, as I think I said before, is one of the prettiest Dobies I've ever seen. Gotta love that Dobie butt and tail. Thanks for making me smile with those two precious girls.

    I've been Boo'd...
    Thanks Barry!

Well, it doesn't help that Dance is one of the most laid back tollers ever, but Dobes are pretty active. Keira's breeder assures us that she'll calm down at about a year (she's 8 months now). She's the most active dog I think we've ever had at the moment, and I think she'll still be extremely energetic even after she matures a bit. Not quite so puppy-crazy, but still pretty up there. I tend to think she has more energy than even Tango ever did, but it could also just be that Ki is really difficult to tire out since I can't throw a ball or anything for her as she never brings stuff back.

Looks like they had a lot of fun. A dobie in the water, there's a picture you don't see everyday. Does she swim or just walk in the shallow part? I'm told my new dog likes to swim, I'll have to try her out at the park this weekend. How old is Dance now?

Both of my Dobes love to walk in the water up to about their elbows. Keira used to love swimming, but one day she leaped off of a bank into a really deep spot in a creek, and she panicked as she didn't realize it was going to be deeper in that spot than the others she was swimming in. Now she's afraid to go too deep. Oh, and Dance is 16 months now.

Such beautiful girls having a blast.. does it get any better than that?
I have to admit it, the pictures I have seen of your Dobes have made me fall head over heels for them.
I don't think I could ever tire from seeing pictures of any of your dogs.

Those are fantastic... you're really great with that camera! I've had my Nikon D70 since January and I still suck at photos. LOL

I just love your dogs! They are sooooo beautiful. I've been noticing pictures of Dance's breed on dog food bags and stuff. She is sooooo pretty!
