Just When You Think Things Are Better.....
Leila seems to improve daily. She is allowed to roam the house, has been lying in our laps, purring, wanting us to pet her…AND…she even used the litter box and didn’t spray! BUT……….
Now Gable is becoming aggressive with the others and is spraying all over the place. He is now secluded to the bedroom, but he isn’t going to be as easy to seclude as Leila. She didn’t like, nor want to be, around any of the other cats. Gable on the other hand, loves running and tumbling with Garbo, Chowder, and a couple other cats. He loves socializing with the granddaughters and loves being around us and in our laps.
Gosh it’s always something when you have so many!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
