    Rabbit Owners

Ok rabbit owners, i am making a site dedicated to rabbits. it will be connected to another site that i am making that is about a whole variety of pets. I was just going to keep rabbit topics of that site, but when i started i found that there is just too much too say. So now the bunnies are getting their own site. yah. I will constantly post a new question or topic here for you to discuss, and i will take some of the basic knowledge and put it on the site. Remember, you dont have to look up answers, this is based on your own experiences with your bunny buddies.

Ok first question is, how often should you clip your rabbits nails?

also if you have any other info about nail clipping add it in. also pics and even links to products are great. I am hope people will respond to this site well. Thanks again.

my rabbits nails are white, so I can easily see when they need done, I just clip her nails when they are obviously quite long lol and if it helps, I use small dog scissor type nail clippers, and I dont need help, I just lay her on her back in my lap and go "clip, clip, clip" lol

It really depends on what the cage is made out of. With wire/wood cages nails should be clipped every 2-4 weeks. With solid bottomed cages and rabbits who are allowed to run outside on the ground don't need to be clipped as often.

Whenever they look long I guess. That comes out to be about every month or so.
