    Bears fans' poor conduct

Can I just complain about Bears fans for a minute? I live in the Chicago suburbs. The New Orleans players arrived in Chicago yesterday afternoon. They are staying at a hotel right near Soldier Field. There was footage on the 5 PM news yesterday of the players entering the hotel - you could tell they were outdoors, they had heavy coats on and some were also wearing hats. Here is my rant. The players and coaches were booed - BOOED - by fans outside the hotel. I'm appalled by that. You may want your team to win but I don't think it is okay to show disrespect to players for the other team. Especially New Orleans, a city that has been through so much with the hurricanes. Unsportsmanlike conduct penalty to the people who booed. Okay, I'm done ranting.

As a Massachusetts resident, I am of course supposed to be rooting for the Patriots today, that other games are also happening is pretty much irrelevant to our media except in the "If we win today, we'll be playing ..."

Well, it's not looking good for New Orleans right now. But I sure wish the announcers would be slightly less biased.

The '85 Super Bowl Bears played against New England so it would be a hoot if they were to play again.

New England leads 7-0. What a play. My hubby is so lucky that I LOVE football. He's spoiled. He will only watch his Dallas Cowboys play. Once again, go Patriots. I just don't like Payton Manning.
