Our friend Larry, just 2 or 3 months shy of his 5th birthday, left us this "wheek" to be with his friend Dexter. Larry was Pet of the Day in March 2004. He went quickly -- I came home Thursday and he wouldn't even touch his canteloupe, so I took him to the emergency vet, who kept him comfortable until he passed Friday at noon.
Larry was the alpha pig to the end, always bossing his underlings around -- probably he was trying to make up for his effeminate appearance.
We miss Larry very much, but we celebrate that he had a long, good life and that he was not sick very long. Goodbye Larry!
