Turkish Angora Owners?

I have a white cat that looks a lot like the Turkish Angora's I see online. I have a question though to try and verify if that's what she is. She had a black spot on the top of her head when she was MUCH younger and then it eventually went away. If there are any turkish angora owners out there can you please tell me if the same was true with your cat, or not. Thank you!

I rescued a group of "turkish angora cats" from the animal shelter
One was pregnant. Every white kitten she had had the charcoal spot on top of the head.
These were very short haired compared to those in shows.
But, shape, personality, etc is identical.
