Please spare a hug for my mom

I just found out that my mom lost her cockatiel, Sonja today. Sonja was very very special to my mother. She wasn't too friendly to other people, but Sonja would always cuddle with mom and watch TV with her. I wish I could discribe the bond between my mom and Sonja.

My mom could use extra hugs today. Does anyone have one to spare?
