    Rest In Eternal Peace, Tubby

    Dear Debbie and Terry ~

    I offer my deepest sympathy.
    Wish I could be there to give you both a heartfelt {{{hug}}}.

    We've all been blessed by meeting and loving Tubby through your
    posts - and we'll never forget him.
    I'm sorry that I never purrsonally met him - I had hoped that we'd solve
    that problem in the spring at Findlay - since he so enjoyed Trips
    in the MotorHowze... a Trip to Findlay seemed a sure thing.
    Not to be...

    I've lost a few very Beloved FurKids over the years...
    It isn't easy... a lot of tears are yet to be shed...
    But what does help is to share the memories -
    Remember the Good Times...
    The Frisky Kitten;
    The NawTee teenager;
    The (sometimes) Loving Senior...
    Tubby shared his life with you ~ Rejoice in those Memories.

    {{{HUGS}}} to you, Deb; Terry; and Peanut.

    With Love,
    /s/ Phred

    Debbie, Terry and Peanut, I am so sorry. There is nothing else I can say that everyone else has not already said. Please know that you, Terry and Peanut are in my thoughts, prayers and my heart. --- Meg

    Tubby may you rest in peace and may you play ever so hard over the Rainbow Bridge. Until you are reunited with your family, may you find the love from our family (Tony, Cleo and Tobias).

    Dear Debbie,

    I, like so many other PTers, am typing this through tears. I just signed on to take a quick scan of Cat General when I saw your thread. I couldn't believe it as Tubby had improved so much in the last weeks. Poor baby - his little body just wore out. He was loved so thoroughly by you, Terry, Peanut and legions more. You gave him the absolute best life any kitty could ever have and then you gave him the kindest, most loving send off. That was an extremely unselfish decision on your part as our first inclinations as pet parents would probably have been to run out the door of the vet's office, carrying our babies home with us for just a little more time with them. Instead, you did what was best for dear Tubby, saving him from any more pain, and taking the pain upon yourself as you drove home with empty arms. (((HUGS))) to you, Terry and a kiss to Miss Peanut. My heart breaks for your loss.

    Take care --- Bobbi

    I was in the room with Tubby for awhile after he was "gone" and I finally composed myself and came out. The vet came and got Tubby and it was only left to pay the bill. As the girl handed me my receipt, she gave me a little card with a poem about RB on it. I thought I had it together until then. I started crying again and told her I knew about RB and I had told Tubby I would see him there. She was having a tough time with it all too, and when I told her that she broke down too.

    And just so no one wonders, yes Terry was there too, although he couldn't be in the room. He was a total basket case - almost worse than me, so he waited in the lobby, which was fine with me. I wanted the time alone with Tubby. We were alone together when I first got him, and now we were alone together when he left.

    Debbie, I am so sorry, I just don't know what to say. I thought he was getting better. This is just such a shock. All I know to do is say I am sorry and to just keep crying and to pray for you and Terry.

    Rest in peace sweet boy, Tubby, May you play hard and be well at the bridge.

    Willie

    Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

    I know Tubby's health had been a concern, but it's still a shock to read this. Rest in peace, Tubby.
