In rememberance of a good friend!

Peggy was my good friend of over 20 years. Her birthday was in April and she died a few days before her birthday a few years ago. Ever since she died, I plant my flowers in April and call it "Peggy's Garden". I just wanted to do more to remember her this year for some reason.

Our's is not to reason "why"
The friend we loved, had to die.

I plant my flowers so early in the spring
To represent the brightness in our lives,you did bring.
The month you were born is when all things new,
Start to flourish and grow and birds start to sing.

The Sunshine you brought make the flowers grow,
The rain represents the many tears that did flow,
The flowers that bloom represent the flower you are,
In life and in death, our bright shinning star

I will never stop missing you and remember you all year
The friend I loved, and cherished so dear.

Rest in Peace Friend! Happy Birthday and Death Day.

That's a very special thing to do, about the garden, I mean. And the peom is nice too. We have a blue spruce right behind our house that my hubby still calls his moms tree. We planted it the last Christmas she was alive. (1995) He decorated it as a surprise to me and then I did it for many years until it got too tall. But hubby keeps on decorating it every year at Christmas even though it is over 20' tall in honor of his mom.
