Although words seem to say so little,
I hope they help in some small way
to ease the sense of loss
    that you're experiencing today.

    Hold fast to your memories
to all of the cherished moments
    of the past,
to the blessings and the laugther,
    the joys and the celebrations,
    the sorrow and the tears.
They all add up to a treasure
    of fond yesterdays
that you shared and spent together,
and they keep the one you loved
close to you in spirit and in thought.

    The special moments
    and memories in your life
    will never change.
They will always be in your heart,
    today and forevermore.

    (Linda E. Knight)

Thank you so much everyone. I was going to put together a memorial thread with how much he meant to me with some pictures through the years, but I just can't do it. I did gather the pictures though, so here you go. Imagestation is probably going to boot me after this, but I really don't care.

I am so shocked and saddened at this news. I'm so sorry that I didn't even realize that he was sick.

My heart is breaking for you, Debbie. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. We will all miss Tubby; he touched so many of our lives here on PT. Rest in peace always, Tubby.

I hope this poem will bring you a bit of comfort...

    Look not where I was
    For I am not there
    My spirit is free
    I am everywhere

In the air that you breathe
In the sounds that you hear
    Don't cry for me Mom
    My spirit is near

    I'll watch for you
    From the other side
    I'll be the one running
    New friends by my side

    Smile at my memory
    Remember in your heart
    This isn't the end
    It's a brand new start

Debbie...I've been out all day doing volunteer work and just seeing this now. I can't tell you how hard I'm crying right now. Dear sweet little Tubster....he was doing so well. I guess his little body just couldn't take it anymore. Please, please call me if you want to talk. I'll be up for another 5 or so hours. I have to do volunteer work tomorrow as well but will be home in the evening after 6pm.

Tubby: you are still very special to me and I've saved all the videos that your Meowmie has posted. Rest easy little one. I look forward to meeting you when I get there someday. I'll always love you.

    {{{{HUGS}}}} Debbie.

Debbie I was so sad to read about your precious furbaby Tubby, Tubby was a beautiful kitty, looks a lot like my lexie, even the same white chest dot, my heart goes out to you at this very sad time, and I wish you did not have to go through this awful pain, my sincere condolences to you and your husband, its been an honour and a pleasure to have known Tubby through PT.

Hugs to you all , and know we are thinking of you , and wanting to bring you as much comfort as we can.

    Rest In Eternal Peace, Tubby

    Dear Debbie and Terry ~

    I offer my deepest sympathy.
Wish I could be there to give you both a heartfelt {{{hug}}}.

We've all been blessed by meeting and loving Tubby through your
posts - and we'll never forget him.
I'm sorry that I never purrsonally met him - I had hoped that we'd solve
that problem in the spring at Findlay - since he so enjoyed Trips
in the MotorHowze... a Trip to Findlay seemed a sure thing.
    Not to be...

I've lost a few very Beloved FurKids over the years...
It isn't easy... a lot of tears are yet to be shed...
But what does help is to share the memories -
    Remember the Good Times...
    The Frisky Kitten;
    The NawTee teenager;
    The (sometimes) Loving Senior...
Tubby shared his life with you ~ Rejoice in those Memories.

{{{HUGS}}} to you, Deb; Terry; and Peanut.

    With Love,
    /s/ Phred
