It appears to me that I am being judged....

    EDITED to STOP POSTING!!!
I appreciate all the response to this thread, but I would REALLY like to let this thread disappear now!!! There are much more important threads to be spending our time on now!
I'm sorry for having such a mental break down, but I am fine and ready to move on!

    HUGS AND LOVE,
    Kim

by some of the PT police! Why? I can only assume because I recently stated that I was no longer going to be doing rescue work, and mostly because I placed 6 of my rescues with another rescue. THEN, God forbid, I recently rescued 2 more adult males from a very HIGH KILL shelter! Rescue is WHAT I DO ... whether anyone else in the entire world cares, understands, or not!

I have always said, to myself as well as others on occasion, that every cat that comes here is considered a part of our family for however long they are here. Whether that be a day, a year, or 10 years!!! There are certain instances when a cat needs a certain type of home environment and until that home is found, then they are here for the duration. YES, sometimes even, kitties who were "titled" as "keepers" may ultimately be moved on to another situation. It's just what works best for that cat, and the current situation at hand. For instance, overcrowding is an issue, kitties becoming moody (as little Angel had) and also the need to make room for new rescues. These two that recently joined our "family" were hours away from being KILLED at our local shelter. Why? Because they were adults, and also because they both were starting the URI!!! For those who aren't sure "who" i am speaking of ... they are Baxter and Redfurd, in my new siggy below!

In the future, I plan to keep MY business just that ... MINE!!! I joined PT to share my love of cats, and what bit of knowledge that I have concerning them. I have made some friends, and am blessed by that! However, I am sick and tired of all the *high school* attitudes that a few of the PT members seem to like to live ... I am SO over that phase of my life!

It is more than obvious when certain people refrain from posting on a thread of mine, no matter how many *bumps* I give it. So, I can only assume that they are using the "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" theory. Well, when it is obvious that a few you thought were true friends, do this, it still hurts!

You know what though? I know for a fact that what I do is lifesaving for these kitties, and that I am blessed for my work. Blessed by GOD my Heavenly Father ... and that is all I truly need.
For those of you who continually support me, I thank you and LOVE you dearly!!!! No one can judge another here, especially a rescuer, unless you have walked in our shoes!

I am not one to "toot my own horn" as I think has been pretty obvious here on PT, but I HAVE always believed in standing up for what you believe!

For those who care, and can stomach my latest news ... I will start a new thread of a completely blind 3 year old cat that was dumped into my care yesterday A truly sad situation, and YES I took her in!!!
