Here it doesn't cost that much. The prices change every year, but I haven't come across something that I wouldn't pay for a healthy well-bred rat.

You know...if it wasn't on luckies' links page I would recommend visiting www.goosemoose.com/rfc

It's a FABULOUS all-rat forum with really wonderful people who love helping newbies to rats. Just do not say the word "breeding" in any of your initial posts unless you are prepared to get into a LOOOOOONG discussion.

I personally prefer male rats, big "Squishy" boys.....but I have six girls right now! Go figure.

Oh, the people at goosemoose would also probably be able to help you find a breeder/rescue in your area!

    Thank you Wolf_Q!

Catherine, doesn't Kim do transport for her rat rescue? I think something could be arranged there.

Like WOlfChan said, the RFC is a GREAT place for all information on rats. The people are just fantastic, (WolfChan and I are there ) and are always so helpful and you could surely find a rescue or breeder in your area.

Don't have one, don't know anything about em.

    But gosh, are they CUTE!

I want one, but my mom would NEVER let me have a rat in the house. She does NOT like rats, to say the least.
