It's a sad situation all the way around. I feel sorry for the dogs, too because they couldn't possibly have been given a good home. Now they will be punished because of an irresponsible owner.
YEP! I feel the same way. I'm more worried they'll be returned to the original owners, though, and now that they have the taste of blood and know where to get it, they'll be back.

Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
