I wish America would do stuff like this for pets! There is NOTHING like that anywhere near me. Heck, the nearest dog park is over an hour away AND it's only available to in-county residents... of which I'm not!! :grr:

Thank you all so much for your kind words .....

PCB - I thought of you with every birdie pic I took ..... I knew you would love them

Samantha Puppy / Pitc9 - Best Friend has only been open for 18 months and already they have won the award for most Dog Friendly accommodation.

It is truly a fantastic place. They have fenced in cabins, fenced in caravan sites and fenced in "tent" sites ......... so no matter what, you can take your furkids with you.

The owners are fantastic too. They LOVE what they have, and are so happy when people LOVE it too.

    Spotty kisses to all

Oh, wow, that place is fantastic! I love Dalmation Drive

I hope you were OK after your fall! Captain and Ruby look so happy and energised in all the photos and must've had a great time

I love this rule from their web site:
"Dogs likely to jump the park's 1.2 metre high fencing are to be kept on leash at all times."

He he he, I just thought of querying that rule if we ever get to take the sausages

The pictures were just GORGEOUS. I love the one of Ruby and Captain running along the beach, and the last one of captain. Beautiful! Of course the birdie and bunny pic was adorable! Wonderful pics!! I'm so jealous that you have such a nice dog park. Those birds are beautiful! Love the ones of Captain and Ruby running. That last pic is really good.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.
    [/SIZE]

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
