I awoke about an hour or so later to the nurse, coming in for her what seemed like hourly check-up. She took my blood pressure and my temperature and looked at all the machines I was hooked up to. I waited and waited and finally she left. I got up to use the bathroom and when I came back out Graham was sitting by the window smiling at me. Again, something was up. He had a sneeky, sly grin on his face.
