Threading is SOOOOOOOOO easy, and personally, I like it WAY better than waxing, because it hurts less and works pretty good too. My aunt taught me how to do it.Originally posted by Soledad
Tonya - Does the hair have to be long to thread? You get a thread and tie it, so it forms a loop. Then you twist it in the middle, and put your two fingers through from both hands on each side. Then you put it next to your skin and open your fingers on one side, and then on the other. The twisted part zooms across your skin, pulling the hair off as it goes. It works for the tiny and fine facial hair most women are always trying to get rid of. It works for legs too, but it does take quite some time.
Back to the topic.............my mom's friend is a hair dresser and normally trims my hair at her home. I like to keep my hair long, so its normally just a trim to keep the bottom straight, however I did get a layered cut from her once and HATED it! I have vowed never to get my hair layered again. I like it long and cut straight at the bottom.
Occasionally my mom will trim my hair. She does a pretty good job for not being a hair dresser.![]()
