I have a very special HUG request. Many people here in New Jersey are still suffering the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy as are many others in Staten Island and Long Island. These storm victims have lost everything - lifelong mementos, personal possessions that can never be replaced, family photos, their homes are gone from damage so extensive no repair is possible and homes that were washed away by floods.

As we enter the holiday season, could I ask my PT friends to send extra special [[[[[HUGS]]]] to those who have lost so much? Right now they need all the positives they can get.

Absolutely. A close friend of mine lives in Breezy Point and the whole thing has been very traumatic. He was one of the lucky ones - he escaped the fire and his home can be repaired, and though they lost most of their possessions on the first floor, the upstairs largely escaped harm. His part of NYC was hit so hard and I've been hearing horror stories from him about what some of his neighbors have been going through.

Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.
