Cute might work for the Mayor of a small town; it might even work for the Governor of a small (population) state. But cute does not work for the President of the United States.

Cute = increased popularity.
Increased popularity = a bloody good chance.
What I have seen so far in your elections is simply a popularity contest.
So what makes a good president ?? Being coloured ?? Being an ex cowboy movie star ?? Being cute ?? All sounds the same to me.![]()
"I'm Back !!"
The Ex-cowboy movie star was also the leader of the Union he was in and Governor of California well before he ran for the presidency, but people forget those two stops to make him seem like a lightweight.
We've also had former Congressmen, a former protoge of Adm. Rickover, former generals, and ex-suit salesmen.
But usually union leaders are only bully men who work for their own.
And as Governor of Cal, the man was elected because he was popular, a face that everyone knew. Same as Arnie the Terminated....big star....what does he know about politics ??? He married a Kennedy, that don't mean a thing when it comes down to the "proof of the pudding."
I heard you also had a peanut farmer in the White House![]()
"I'm Back !!"
Correct. He had also been Governor of Georgia. He graduated in 1947 from the United States Naval Academy and served on surface ships and on diesel-electric submarines in the Atlantic and Pacific fleets. He was involved with the beginnings of the nuclear sub program in the US - under Rickover.
One president was a former co-owner of a ML baseball team and an oil company, there was a mining engineer, a number of teachers, a number of farmers and a tailor who did not learn to read until his wife taught him.
It is interesting that people complain about career politicians out of one side of their mouth and NOT a career politician out of the other.
Of the people, by the people and for the people. And "the people" includes soldiers, farmers, engineers, movie stars, union members and sales people as well as lawyers and congresspersons.
But really....coloured???? I thought my 90 year old father was the only person left who used that word in reference to a person's race.
What I don't get is whyis presented as a bad thing? Who are they suppose to work for? And isn't that what a president does?bully men who work for their own
Caribou Barbie...Take 2
FIND A PURPOSE IN LIFE.....BE A BAD EXAMPLE
