When I finish collecting what I want from certain country's (USA Vietnam War, North Vietnam, South Vietnam are near completion). I'll set them up on some pages on the net, and PM those interested a link so you can go take a look.

I'm still amazed that the French struck medals basically celebrating incompetence.

Good soldiers, crap leaders.

They only do well when lead by foreigners and arguably insane females.

I had to laugh when I was in Vietnam seeing the remains of the French effort in the Indochina War. There are French forts everywhere. Or the remains of them. Evidently after there daily offensives, they would return to these forts for their nightly defencives, and lock themselves up in them.
You can imagine what was left of these forts and there inhabitants after a night surrounded by Viet Minh armed with explosives and perhaps a captured field howitzer or two

I guess you would have to leave the shells for the howitzers behind.

He's referring to Joan d'Arc - and besides, I hope everyone around here knows with the upbringing Lady's Human had, there's no way he'd have survived without healthy respect for females! And I, for males - we were raised that there's no such thing as work based purely on gender, and my brothers learned to sew and cook, and my sister and I learned to check the oil, mow the grass, etc. (although I never did mow the grass at home, by the time she left for college, Lady's Human was big enough and wanted to do it)!
