Yes having the Edster here with me is probably the greatest medicine I can think of..
For the last two nights he has slept next to my head. I am currently on a home infusion IV thing I have to carry around with me so, I am a little leery of having him cliimb all over me, but it has worked out for the best.

Is that what that is? Spunky purrs so loud at the vet, he can't hear his lungs, although he doesn't act out out. He seems to enjoy the outing, just not the carrier or the car ride.
Cassie has two purr levels -- one is the "I'll tolerate (being held/hugged and loved on/having my nails trimmed), but not for long" purr, loud and medium pitched; and the other is the "I'm sooooo content" purr, soft and low. The second is music to my ears
He can purr loudly while I'm holding him, but that is always at his insistence.
Jane has a soft purr.
