The holidays sure got me down this year. I was so blessed and had a great time but things just pile up, you know? I'll be so glad when next week comes and life can get back to sort of normal.

I'd like another cherry rootbeer please and tuck some cherry vodka in this one, ok?
No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!

One cup of strong coffee with a splash of Slicks Baileys if you please kind sir. All the thoughts posted here made me smile, cry, laugh and feel sorta wistful... heavy sigh here for the passed hard times and hopes for us all for the coming year

    Laurie

For tomorrow (if anyone is still around Thursdays) a pot of black eyed peas for good luck (an old "Southrun" tradition) and crab cakes (my own Eastern Shore tradition)

Has it really been 411 Thursdays? Time sure flies when you are having fun.

I'll raise a glass to all the loved ones who've passed and for all the loved ones to be born.

2011 here we come, stronger than ever.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Oh breakfast!!! I'll have pancakes wth sausage and eggs over easy with a side of hash browns and brown toast.. Oh yes, and I brought some Canadian bacon to fry up!! After all, they say greasy food is best for a hangeover.

Good morning, and Happy New Year everyone. I hope there aren't too many bad hangovers out there. None here!!

I'll fire up the griddle for French toast, bacon and a ton of hash browns. I know it's early for some of you, but please feel free to join in. I think a nice tall glass of cold orange juice would hit the spot too. Coffee is on for anyone who would like some.
