Cantaloupe and vanilla ice cream are great together.

Mom used to get small cantaloupes and cut them in half, take the seeds out and plop vanilla ice cream in the center. That made their own little bowls. YUMMY!

Of course, I have to use non-dairy frozen dessert instead of ice cream now but still great.

New carpet tomorrow and getting ready for it with a nearly 3 year old and 2 hounds is... Challenging.

On the plus side... Moving all our furniture around to get the old carpet up is like a Indiana Jones movie. We are finding all kinds of old/missing stuff.... While dodging the random moth or two. Dogs in/Dogs out makes for many moths in house. But Beezer is a ninja moth catcher.

Well, the end of another long work week. It's hot, but not too hot over here - I think about 75 deg F which is purrfect for me and Merlin.

I have not seen the Little Orange kitten for a while. Maybe he squeezed himself into someone's pocket on the way out the door. Hey LOK, show your furry face will ya? No, not you Orc.

So barkeep, may I please have a couple of ice cold beers to see me through the rush hour traffic??? Accidents all over the place.

I've got a high school reunion to attend tomorrow - just a day thing at a park. Have not had one since 1995. Should be interesting to see if the jocks have lost any weight or grew hair...... since then.

MOFF, that soup sounds fabulous. I just might make some when I get home but hey, what is oleo???
