Will Axel get to help plant the marigolds?

We have rhubarb in the church garden, and I pass through it from time to time, thinking I should bring a knife and a cup of sugar next time ...

Do you have any 7-up and crackers left??? My insides are still in an uproar after that bout of food poisoning. I'm like a walking zombie! Granddaughter's grad from h.s. is Thursday and a big party for her on Saturday - I need to be functional by then........
A gallon of 7-up and a bucket of crackers please.

I could use a large fresh cold glass of milk with a raspberry toaster strudel. Got up early to chop weeds in the pine tree lot & am heading to town to get some groceries. I need a picker upper please.

What you need is a big plate of sausages and eggs fried in lots of lard, washed down with fresh creamy milk straight from the cow...that'll fix ya up.

Yikes Pom!! I can't believe that you're still recovering!! Killer potato salad!! When we were kids and our stomachs were upset from the flu or whatnot, we always got pastina when we were recovering. It's tiny little pastas that you boil in salted water, with a few bits of cut up carrot. Then you spoon out a bit of the pasta/carrot/water together and eat. Comforting and easily digestable. Total positive Italian childhood recovery experience!!

Yes - I'm familiar with pastina. My mother used to make it a lot, and I still do frequently. Lately I'm living on chicken noodle soup, crackers, some mashed potatoes, a little boiled chicken, some poached fish (not all at once of course). What I wouldn't give for a big Angus burger from Hardees!!!
This whole mess just seems to be a flare-up of IBS brought on by the food poisoning. More meds from the doc yesterday - hope they work!

pomtzu - do you have an aloe plant? Or can you get some good quality aloe drink from a health store?

That might soothe your intestines...but if you have the plant, don't eat the pointy bits! lol Take a couple of stalks and squeeze the gel into a glass of water and stir. Add a bit of apple juice if you want. (I use room temp water, but you might want it just a tad warmer).

I HOPE you are way better soon!
