I take my shoes off and go to feed the kids.
The back porch is a nice place to sit for a while and coimmune with nature.
Sit down, I have beer, wine, cheese and a hungry ORC holding on to the crackers.

Next week I'll be looking at the ocean with a fishing pole in hand. With that in mind, maybe just a Sam Adams and a fast forward to next wednesday.

Livin' in Parrot Paradise
You must be a mind-reader or something! Today is the day that work begins to screen in my back patio!!! While I don't QUITE have a view like the one in the photo, I do have a few trees with many resident birds (as well as my own) to watch as I sit and drink iced tea and strum my guitar! We can't use the yard most of the year because the mosquitos are so bad that they try to pick you up and carry you over the fence, but a screen will foil them! Unless of course they figure out how to open the screen door. . .
My birdies will finally get to spend time outdoors - first piece of furniture that we bought was a new playstand
Yay!
So I'll start with a cappucino and some patio furniture so that everyone can come and visit, sit out there with me and listen to the cardinal sing and the woodpeckers peck and my neighbors argue!

I've been missing all of the good food and drinks at the bar, but I'm just coming back to life after a week long bout of severe food poisoning that knocked me on my butt, and sent me to the hospital. I think I'll keep it light with some 7-Up and crackers with mild cheese - please..........
