To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1The clock of life is wound but once and no man has the power
To know just when the hands will stop - on what day, or what hour.
Now is the only time you have, so live it with a will -
Don't wait until tomorrow - the hands may then be still.

Yikes Pom!! I can't believe that you're still recovering!! Killer potato salad!! When we were kids and our stomachs were upset from the flu or whatnot, we always got pastina when we were recovering. It's tiny little pastas that you boil in salted water, with a few bits of cut up carrot. Then you spoon out a bit of the pasta/carrot/water together and eat. Comforting and easily digestable. Total positive Italian childhood recovery experience!!![]()
When you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect. Mark Twain
Yes - I'm familiar with pastina. My mother used to make it a lot, and I still do frequently. Lately I'm living on chicken noodle soup, crackers, some mashed potatoes, a little boiled chicken, some poached fish (not all at once of course). What I wouldn't give for a big Angus burger from Hardees!!!
This whole mess just seems to be a flare-up of IBS brought on by the food poisoning. More meds from the doc yesterday - hope they work!

pomtzu - do you have an aloe plant? Or can you get some good quality aloe drink from a health store?
That might soothe your intestines...but if you have the plant, don't eat the pointy bits! lol Take a couple of stalks and squeeze the gel into a glass of water and stir. Add a bit of apple juice if you want. (I use room temp water, but you might want it just a tad warmer).
I HOPE you are way better soon!![]()
