Hi, just checking in. I'm still here at work even though everyone else left at Noon. Backup tapes won't eject......

So, on that note could I please have a tall BM with the fixin's. Ta, Richard.

    I'll check back later.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

I am preparing some shrimp in lots and lots of garlic. You saute them just until pink. Then they will be placed on top of a risotto with mushrooms.

And of course, some champagne to wash all of that down. I am getting hungry.

Ha, Randi, my recipe calls for two glasses on wine - one to add to the shrimp and one to drink.

I will bring enough to the bar for everyone!

And in case I don't get back here in time

    HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

and a cup of Jasmine tea or two.

I couldn't go out now even if I wanted to. I'm stuffed!

No moon here tonight. Cloudy, -21oC, wind chill of -30oC. Great weather to stay inside and cuddle with furbabies. I'd love a cranberry juice and soda please.

Great lunch with an old friend. Heard some rumors, they make me giggle.

I got the plumbing bill for my leaky drain today. So sad! the part only cost 3 dollars. The rest of the $62 bill was labor and taxes.
If I was a youngster looking to enter the job market, I'd become a plumber or electrician!

I'm finishing up the last of the Christmas cookies. How about a rootbeer to wash them down?

We had shrimp creole for dinner last night, along with a bottle of non-alcoholic bubbly. We usually have some sort of seafood on NYE. Today, however, is Friday and Friday is pizza night.

Jeff will make the dough and fashion one of his terrific 'za's!

    Happy New Year everyone!!
