Wellllll... The Cubbies are out, the White Sox are out, we lost the Olympics in the first round ... and ... the Cubs' rival St. Louis is in the post-season. And it's 50 and raining in Chicago tonight. Could I have a beer, please? A Budvar, since I'm part Czech. And a Chicago-style hot dog, please. I've brought two essential ingredients, poppy seed buns and bright green relish.

Well, I'm not much for sports but I love playing with meatballs......especially if they are swimming in tomato sauce smothering a plate of spaghetti.....
For those who don't know, it's our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend so we get Monday off.Lots of sports going on up here this weekend - the sound of the TV will overpower the conversation around the turkey.
